Your chapter was so intense that my heart was pounding. MAN you're a good writer, know that? I'm so, SO thankful Dean is safe and that Sam found the strength to fight back, but still, that was WAY too close. Great reading, of course, but ohhh, poor boys :(

Yeah, Dean is Batman. No doubt about it.

It was really hard for me to get the right feel for this chapter. I didn't want for it to look like Sam was just lying there and watching his brother sacrifice himself in this really horrible way. Sam needed to be seen as doing everything he could without actually doin anything until the very end. It seems as though that came through for you so I am very grateful. Hugs!!!

Oh, thank goodness the cavalry got there in time! I'm very glad there was no Dean into the fire moment. I would have had to cry.

I think I shed a few tears even though he didn't make it all the way into the fire. Poor little Dean. I had the last part of the action scene written a little bit differently (no Dean in the fire either way) and my writing class convinced me to change it. I think it works better this way than my original version, but I'm not totally sure.

Oh that last question! Dean will always have Sam as priority one. Love the buildup and the last minute rescue.

Ah yes, we all know the answer to that last question. And I'm pretty sure Sam knows the answer as well.

Coming down the home stretch now. Yup, just one chapter left. I have to admit, I'm so excited to be finishing this one up because when I started writing it I figured it would be about 5 chapters long. And now its going to end on chpater 20!!! What the heck! Here I was thinking John comes back from a hunt, but its not John. Sam turns into a grown up and takes Dean to Bobby's. Bobby fixes it. End of story. Little did I know they were going to take a train, meet Steve, get a gazillion other hunter's involved, have to fight a Lich as well as all the ghouls, etc... Yeah, this story got away from me just a little. *head desk*
