Have fun at VanCon! Wish I could go. Stoopid lack of money :P

Normally I read this over at fanfiction.net (I'm nej47 over there), but it's being STOOPID right now, so I'll comment here! Nice job, as always. Love that you're using a Lich--it's SO NICE to read about a different monster! And as always your characters are spot on. Dean is so brave, the dear love...aww :)

Hey question for you: have you ever considered doing a fic in this verse when Sam is grown-up? And his wish works in reverse and he becomes young!Sam when Dean just needs some care/to take care of him? Just curious, cuz that would be incredible to read. Not that I want you to stop writing your current stories anytime soon. They are among my favorites ever written, and that's the truth :) ::HUGS::

*blushes* You are so nice, what an incredible compliment! I wish you could have been at VanCon, it was amazing! I posted my photo ops on my journal if you're interested.

The Lich is kind f cool because there is no canon surrounding it so I can kind of do what I want with him. Heehee.

I like your idea about the wish making Sam young once they are grown up. Would this be because Dean needs to feel the untainted, unconditional love of a child or would it be because Sam needs to be taken care of? I can see it both ways.

I hadn't heard from you in a while so it's great to know you're still reading!!! *hugs*

Another great chapter, sweetie. It was scary having them all split up like that. I had a mantra running through my head as I read it though. I kept thinking, please don't kill Steve, over and over. See how much you've made me care for your oc? :)

Awww, I'm so glad Steve has become an inportant character to you. Yeah, he is in a pretty vulnerable position right now what with being left alone gaurding the phony John. Let's just hope that Bobby really did know what he was doing in leaving him there unprotected.

Thank you for reading and commenting!

I am so jealous. I may have said that before. I'm so relieved that you didn't leave them captured that I think it was a wonderful chapter. m :)

LOL, well...they aren't captured at the moment. I make no promises about future chapters. *evil laugh* They aren't exactly out of the woods yet - pun intended.

Thank you, sweetie!!!

A Lich!

You know, liches count as the second worst enemy to fight in Baldur's Gate 2 in my book. They come just after Mindflayers, which are a sheer bitch to fight. In some ways they can be worse because the cast Time Stop spells and frequently summon demons.

But enough reminiscing about classic D&D crpgs, you did say the monsters would be interesting in this, and having a lich? Yep!

I kept thinking this sounded a fair bit like the precursor to the ghouls in Jump The Shark, but they're not in Windom, and I think the timing is a bit early.

I used to play D&D way back in the day and that's where I got the idea for the Lich from. That and The Order of the Stick which my kids read and get a huge kick out of.

I figured that ghouls were fair game since in Jump the Shark Sam and Dean had obviously heard of ghouls before and so it made sense that they probably encountered them at some point pre-series.

Love your comments!!!
