It's come to my attention that there has been some suspicion of my counting for results of challenges. Though I hate the idea of poll voting- I would hate to have an icon submitted and watch it get no votes- should that be the case, if you all would prefer, I can instate poll voting for challenges ( Read more... )

I'm voting yes, but not because I'm suspicious of how you've done things, just because I'm nosey and I like to see how many votes my icons get.

I mean really, why would you make it up?

but I think the second part, about bumping someone that wins twice, I don't think that's any good, especially since they win twice with different icons, why shouldn't they deserve credit for making 2 (+) exceptional icons?

I know a couple communities that unscreen votes after voting has been counted - maybe that'll get rid of worries about you miscounting?

I can see the good and bad on both sides, but I trust your count and, as you say, probably don't need to see how many not-votes I'm getting.

Whichever way you choose to go, I'm content.

Voting no because everyone ends up knowing who will win/lose; kinda spoils the fun in an icontest. :/

You could always post the voting tally with the results. So people know how their icons did, but the results are still a surprise.

I'm going to try this. The problem is, if you didn't get votes, do you want to know? But since you don't sort of have to see as with a poll, this will allow for an optional view at what your scores were.

I am not going to fill out the poll, because I think that as mod it should be your decision. I've never had a complaint to make, but I haven't been here very long. :P
