Unfortunately, I don't really think your reason for lesser quality icon is constructive. Admittedly, the cap's choice is given to the iconmaker. Nonetheless, it seems like a personal reason, and not a constructive, focused-on-the-icon's-technical-flaws reason.
Maybe you could rephrase your vote a little ? Maybe the composition, coloring, solid background makes it hard to see what is really the main subject of this icon ?
