Technical Challenge: Irregular Shape Icons (suggested by evester)

Let's break away from the 100x100 pixel square this week and make icons that have an unusual shape -- circles, diamonds, rectangles, hearts... I think small squares count too. I'm not sure if there are any good examples from challenges past (as it's so rare to make a non-100x100 icon!) but feel free to ask questions if you're confused.

EDIT: If you're having difficulty making a transparent icon, it's okay to make the icon white instead of transparent. The voting table will be white so people won't be able to see the difference.

Some guides for making transparent gifs in PSP & PS. For GIMP, if you have a transparent background already (the checkers) all you need to do is save as a .gif or a .png and it will do the transparency for you. Saving as a .gif yields rough edges, though. To start off with a transparent image, go to File -> New. Under Advanced Options set "Fill with:" to "Transparency".
