Challenge #99
Rules:
- You may submit up to 3 icons by Friday, May 23, 10:00pm PST.
- You may not include any text or animation in your icons. Symbols such as !, @, *, ? and similar are not allowed. Tiny (unreadable) text is fine.
- textures/brushes etc are fine.
- blending is allowed.
- You must post your icons in a comment to this entry.
- You must post the icon itself & the URL to the icon.
Theme: a non-character 'character' challenge suggested by constantlonging
This week's challenge will be a non-character "character" challenge (meaning that the icon must be representative of a character but must not show the character themselves). The challenge is slightly more difficult than normal though I'm sure you'll all do splendidly - it will rely on either cap choice or creative cropping. You are allowed to show a small portion of the character if you can't avoid it, but the focus must be on the object itself.
If you're unsure if your icon qualifies just ask. I've included a selection of caps behind the cut to get the idea, though you're welcome to find your own.

In the above examples we have the Beasts' rose, Cinderella's shoe, the Genie's lamp, Arthur's sword, the Queen's magic mirror, and Captain Hook's hook. Basically any item that you immediately identify with a specific character will be accepted.
