[Clutching a letter marred by grubby finger swipes between her teeth, Elizabeth can be seen lugging a large trunk, three swords, a musket, a grenade, and a rather large looking, 18th century frilly dress. In one fist, a corset can be seen, dirty and slightly wet.

Are her clothes dripping a little bit? Why yes… and so is her hair. She looks tousled ( Read more... )

Not exactly an expert at "packing," are you?

[She's noticed the weapons... and the jade. Very much the jade. Not to mention that she's inwardly calculating the worth of every scrap of fabric she sees. Force of habit, really.

But the girl's organizational skills could use some help. The sheer clutter of the numerous items could have been reduced drastically with the proper planning and packing. And she knows her space-management. She lives out of suitcases typically... Well, backpacks and trucks more like, but the same type of thing.]

Packing was the last thing on my mind when there's a war at hand. [Not to mention, leaving Will....] Could have used a bit of help from my CREW! [She spits bitterly.] Stupid pirates.

[Oh yes, just imagine the worth of a Pirate King. You couldn't imagine what materials are woven into that armor. Shiny, isn't it?]

Elizabeth Swann, pleased to make your acquaintance. [She holds out a firm hand.]

If you're moving a large amount of items, always consider packing.

[Oh. Helga has a very vivid imagination when it comes to prices... and a very sharp eye. You don't work as a treasure hunter for a decade without learning a lot.

But she shakes the woman's hand.]

Lieutenant Helga Sinclair.

Lieutenant Sinclair, is it? [Elizabeth quirks an eyebrow. Now, this could get interesting. After all, she's had her run ins with military before, but never had she heard of any woman serving.]

What army is it you serve under?

[Here's Jack strolling up to the Joe West hall when--

Oh lord. ...why is she here? Time for a stealthy retreat.]

[Elizabeth is still trying to figure out what to do next when she looks at her map. The dorms are... there! She turns around to find none other than Captain Jack Sparrow meandering toward the large looking building.]

JACK SPARROW!! [Oh, did she just purposely forget to use the Captain honoriffic? Why yes, yes she did.]

Don't even, you coward.

[Jack promptly turns about face on his heel. A big shit eating grin on his face and he saunters over to Elizabeth as if that was his intention the entire time. And he ignores the insults. It'd only make her feel as if she had gotten some sort of victory ]

Lizzie! Wonderful to see you! You look well. Have a little more pigment to you I see. I always thought you'd look ravishing with a bit more color. Why are you here? Surely, there wasn't a requirment for yet another pirate to wash up on these...golden shores.

Why are you here?

Why am I here?! I could ask the same of you! Gone cavorting around the seas, have we? How could you just abandon us, once again, when all this is happening?

You stupid, bloody pirate! You're the one that voted for me at the Brethren Court! So here we are, standing with two pieces of eight with some rather ominous Black Mist on the horizon, and you want to know WHY I'M HERE?

[She grabs the closest thing to her and throws it at Jack. It just so happens to be the corset.]

Will is still out there. And Barbosa. The Black Pearl and the Empress and the other lords. Not to mention, Beckett is still running around, trying to control us all with the trading company. He seems to have some personal vendetta against you I still haven't figured out yet... but...

[She trails off and looks down at the floor, wondering if she should throw something else.]

I think I need some rum.

[He notices the young woman with the huge heap of baggage and rushes over to assist. A bit of a habit, but despite his small size he can't help but want to help the young lady.
But... whoah, as he gets closer he can see this isn't your average young lady. He pauses and stares at the weapons for a moment before speaking up.]
Excuse me, miss! Do you need some help with your luggage?

W-What is this, here?

[Elizabeth looks downward. Is that... a clock?]

What kind of curse does... this?

[She coughs and straightens herself. She's a lady of proper upbringing! She should certainly still retain some of that... pirate lord or not.]

[Clears her throat.]

My apologies. I do need a bit of help here. You are... quite polite for a... [There you go again, Elizabeth. Behave yourself]... who are you, exactly?

[His face pales at the "curse" comment, but brightens again as she leaves it aside. He smiles and bows in a refined manner.]
I am Cogsworth, an English teacher here at the academy~ It's a pleasure to meet you, mademoiselle.

[He rights himself again and looks over the luggage for something he can help carry.] Where do you need these taken to?

[OH. Well. She's a fiery one, isn't she. Facilier sweeps over to Elizabeth, all charm and charisma.]

Might I lend you a hand there?

I'd be much appreciative of help.

[She blows a straying hair out of her eyes and reaches down to pick up her weapons. No, she won't let you touch those.]

I'm not completely sure where I'm going yet. Where are the barracks?

[Facilier quirks an eyebrow -- what use would a young girl such as this need with so many vicious-looking blades? But he smooths his surprise over with a curling smile and prods his shadow to life, which scowls at him before bending down to pick up Elizabeth's belongings by their own shadows, causing them to rise into the air and hang suspended.]

Depends on where you'll be livin'. Joe West or Hoover Hall?

My request was placed for Joe West. There's someone in there I need to keep an eye on... Have you come to know a rather bedraggled looking pirate with dreadlocked hair, dark-lined eyes and a very peculiar personality? Captain Jack Sparrow perhaps?

[Clopin was sitting on the roof, taking in the sights, when he saw a one-woman circus come clambering up the stairs. He flipped down to the ground to help her, but then he noticed just how ecclectic (and expensive) her collection was.

Clopin is intrigued. Intrigued enough to forget about Elizabeth and quietly poke through her belongings.]

A-hem.

[Elizabeth quirks an eyebrow while resting one very skilled right hand atop the hilt of her favorite sword.]

Either you are a very stupid fellow who is rummaging through a lady's belongings or you are so dearly kind you are arranging them for easier transport.

[She leans in closely to examine the fellow, batting her eyelashes a bit. He's oddly dressed, but she's seen worse and less groomed men in her voyages to various coasts. The mask throws her a bit... he looks a bit like a clown.]

What a gentleman you must be.

[Whoops. Caught. But Clopin won't let Elizabeth know that. He sweeps his hat off his balding head and beams at her]
Damoiselle, you misrepresent Clopin's chivalrous nature. I am a man of impeccable manners and courteous conduct, but a gentleman I am not. Vagabonds do not do well with armigers.

They do very well with luggage, however. You crinoline collapses, darling, thus you should pack it with the rest of your luggage.
[Touches the trunk, and it springs open, spilling clothing. Clopin retains his smile, but it seems a little forced]
My mother would have whipped me lame if I packed like that.

I was once taught to pack properly, you know! I was a lady... before I was a pirate. A governer's daughter! Well-to-do. So yes, my crinoline collapses. My crinoline, however, is the least of my worries.

[Despite her slightly bitter tone, Elizabeth isn't really angry. Just flustered. Her face softens, and her squared shoulders slack a bit.]

I'm quite worried.
