[When will Milo ever learn to watch where he's going? So proud of his minor accomplishment that he forgot to be careful around the weak spots in the floor. He stepped down on one and CRASHED through, straight up to his hips, in splintered wood.
The communicator and picture frame went skidding across the floor as his arms instinctively flew out to grab the floor and keep himself from dropping through the basement. The dust and ash came up and tickled his nose, adding to his dizziness and threatening to make him sneeze. He valiantly held it because one wrong movement and he could end up jostling what little support he had left.]

He pats his dog, Spike's, head and only tenses at the loud thud from the dancing studio. He quickly paces to the room, making sure to watch his footing, while Spike happily runs ahead and licks Milo right across the face.
