[Dave was asleep up until about five minutes ago, at which point he woke up and realized that he didn't actually ask Jane to prom yet.

Which means someone else might have. It's not like anyone knows about them except Drake, and knowing Drake, he'd definitely ask her just to spite Dave, and-
