[ Well. this week had proven to be quite the omnious week. While playing 'Mary Poppins' to Daniel wasn't exactly in her job description, niether was dealing with lost kittens or voodoo.

Not to mention, on her end it'd been a particularly quiet week. Not a word from her 'highness' (of which, she couldn't complain.) nor Rourke, who'd been preoccupied ( Read more... )

[The Weird Sisters are at the shooting range, although only Seline is actually shooting arrows at targets at the moment. Magic is and always will be their forte, along with long-range planning. That doesn't mean they ignore other skills.

Seline draws and releases the arrow from the longbow. It's not a bullseye, but it hits the target within three inches of the bullseye.]

It has been a while.

That it has. Seems things have gotten a bit better since our last exchange though.

[ There's an arrow, and while it flies smoothly, it's no where near the center of the target. ]

How are you?

We are well, Lieutenant. Thank you for asking.

[Phoebe speaks up while Seline draws another arrow and sends it flying at the target. It hits a little closer this time, but still not a bullseye.]

Of course.

[ She gives Seline a once over, taking notes about her form, wondering just what it is she's getting wrong here. ]

Familiar with archery, I take it?

[While he wouldn't admit to himself that he'd actually gone looking for his lieutenant, he'd also managed to avoid the craziness of voodoo and magic and was wondering if she'd done the same. And, since they were both creatures of habit, he headed to one of the places she always visited.

Sure enough, when he heard the sounds of something striking a target, he knew he'd come to the right place, slipping inside and giving a light cough to announce his presence.]

Been a while since you used that.

She was having a tough time herself. isntpersonal March 19 2011, 06:08:01 UTC
[ Never was too subtle, unless he wanted to be. His presence does throw her off...at least to her knowledge. The fact she's doing poorly puts her off a bit, and yet the feeling of nostalgia can't help but surface somewhere in her smirk. ]

It's definitely showing.

[ Thok. Closer this time to the center, but still, not close enough to her standard. ]

It's not the most practical, compared to what we're now offered.

True, though it never hurts to be proficient. Just in case.

[Walking over casually, his hands are clasped loosely behind his back as he watched her take aim, noting her posture and other features.]

It's good to see you weren't affected by whatever's going around as of late.

Golden rule in my book.

[ While her posture is not completely bent out of shape, some places are tense, while others aren't. While your gait is supposed to be relaxed, hers most certainly isn't, whether the problem was medical or not, was hard to tell from afar. ]

And the same to you.

[ Thok. Still, way too off. ]

Taking crayon off of a wall and babysitting kittens was not in my job description.
