THIS TIME SHE DIDN"T EVEN HAVE TO SAVE AN ENTIRE COUNTRY!honor2usallJanuary 29 2011, 23:07:15 UTC
Well... from my experience, each one is different... they reflect a person's worse nightmares. People... close to the person who was captured are called to save them from these nightmares, to wake them up.
[She sighs a little frustrated she can't explain ore clearly]
It's really different for every person, mine was a bad memory, while other's have been completely different and... much more intense.

I was called to rescue two different people back in October, but I could only take one of the summons. I was approached by the strangelings in my bedroom, where they offered me a recognizable belonging of... who they took.
I went after Mister Hiccup, the Viking, and was transported to what I believe was his greatest nightmare. Miss Ramirez and I had both been called for him, and so we met and touched the helmet... the object I spoke of held by the strangelings... and then it began.
It was a rather awful process, being suddenly one place and then another. The moments in between were... strangling. I couldn't hardly breathe! Then, suddenly, I'm choking on the shores of an isle and there's a mountain sized, six eyed, dragon with hell's intent after us.
It was like the dragons of Berk... but a hundred thousand times their size.

Once upon a time, there was the world. It was not a bad place to live, overall, although there were some bad spots here and there, but everything worked smoothly. And then one day, a great black inky mess of uncertainty crept across the world, infecting the hearts of millions with fear.
So a Mouse built a flying island to house whoever was willing to leave whatever safety their homes could provide. Whoever was willing to face those shadows, or uncover what cast them, could come learn in his school. Unfortunately, the flying island could not protect everyone forever. The walls provided safety, but nor forever. And so whenever the shadows creep up to the school, they may dissipate, but with them evaporate a portion of the population. When they're taken, they must face their own weaknesses. And those who care for them must watch them fall apart.

[If Clopin means to push Goliath's temper right over the edge, he succeeds. The gargoyle's eyes glow white with rage and his grip puts a crack in his communicator as he snarls his response, to the fool and the world.]
But what will you do to stop it? We've tried everything without success. You were here when the Mist rolled down on us; we could barely defend ourselves.

I have heard of this "calling" but I cannot sit by while students and staff are living this torment.
[Not while Elisa is living this torment.]
There must be action we can take now.

What would you like to know, Mister Goliath?
[She's worried for Elisa herself, and knowing Goliath is close to her... she understands.]

I will never sit back and watch this happen.

[Note that the video feed has changed such that Goliath is looking at his communicator from midair, not crouching on the edge of a roof anymore.]
If I must search this whole island before sunrise, I will - if there is anything to be found of the missing, I will find it.
[Or fall out of the air at sunrise trying.]

They are informative, but disturbing.

Others have provided you with most of the relevant information.
But we thought we should tell you that all attempts to locate the missing persons have failed.
Even magic has proved ineffective.
[Which is their roundabout way of admitting that yes, they did try searching.]

[While Elisa is missing. Did they expect anything else from him?]

And remember that when you rescue someone, they will be facing either their greatest fear...or their greatest dream.

What I cannot know are the nightmares of the kidnapped. [Not even Elisa, whom he knows so well in all other ways.]
