[Belle is still worried. Sure, the Mist was gone, and it wasn't too close to France, but she's still worried. She hasn't seen the Beast for a while, and she's sure that she had done or said something wrong to him last time they had seen each other. Then again, it might have been the Mist affecting him

[And then he spoke much more rapidly, as if he was trying to hide his worry.] Are you alright? The Mist didn't hurt you, did it?

[She studies him for a moment. That bad feeling is still in her stomach.]

[Beast lets a long, awkward moment pass.]
Look, I'm really sorry I didnt visit you in the bunkers... I... I was sort of beside myself with my own visions...
[He had completely kept to himself while in the bunkers, tormented and tortured by horrific nightmares when he was asleep, and cruel, degrading hallucinations and daydreams when he was awake. Truth be told, he spent his time curled into a ball in a far corner behind a bed the entire time.
Realizing that now, he felt a world of guilt and agony over not being there for Belle, who may have had to deal with a situation equally as horrible... or worse. He still couldn't stop being selfish, and it was tearing him apart.]
