[Dave is making the rounds, so to speak, checking up on everyone he knows in Joe West with a baseball bat in tow.
He hasn't given himself time to sit back and think about Becky and Balthazar and everyone else back home, and he flat-out refuses to let the notion that maybe they're all dead cross his mind. Balthazar wouldn't let that happen. He wouldn't.
As he passes Aisling's room and hears her crying, he stops and peers inside. The wolves startle him, but he clears his throat just enough to catch Aisling's attention and, hopefully, not anger the wolves.] Hey, uh, Aisling? Are you-
[The wolves look up at his approach and start to growl, but Aisling immediately shushes at them--maybe a little more harshly than she intended. She turns to David.]
[Puck made it his priority to find his students. The others weren't nearly as important to Puck's schemes and desires, but he wasn't going to kid himself. Aisling was special.
A fellow fae. A fellow magic-weilder. A student, and possibly the only other person in the Academy who truly understood Puck's fears, knowing that even fae magic has no affect on the Mist. He doubted the other students or staff were too terribly aware of that.
After flying through the halls and rooms, trying to hunt down his prized pupils, he stumbled across Aisling's room.]
Lass.
[He walked in calmly, not showing his true colors (as usual). Nodding to the pacing wolf, sure that the creature would recognise him, he went to Aisling and knelt down.]
[The wolf stops its pacing and sits down, though still upright and at attention. The other wolf that's curled around Aisling growls, but Aisling places a hand on its head to silence it. She looks up at him.]

[Puck holds out his hand to the wolf, silently casting a small charm spell on it so it wouldn't fear him or dislike him. The last thing he needed was for Aisling's "friends" to dissagree with him. fter petting the head of the wolf, he held out his hand to the young fae.]
