[The feed crackles into existence, and on the screen is a young man. He sits back, communicator resting on the hard surface before him. He seems quite calm and relaxed, and perhaps a bit weary.]Good day, my fellow students and teachers. It is a pleasure to meet all of you, I suppose. I've just arrived after a long journey, and shall spare you the

The only thing he can complain about is the cafeteria food and Xigbar, but both are easy enough to pass. Lexaeus taught him to be self reliant, and Xigbar is not a teacher with a class Zexion must attend.
So. He is... almost content. Not happy, but he will live.
It figures that as soon as he is settling in that his life is quickly disturbed.
The voice on the communicator makes him freeze up instantly, eyes going wide in true emotion, not the polite and childish facade he puts on for others. The book he holds in his hand slips from his grasp- he can't even remember what it was about now, because he's scrambling for the communicator-
and drops it back on the desk before he has a chance to fumble with the buttons. A rare instance of clumsiness in his panic.]

The sharp clatter snaps him out of it, and Zexion takes a deep breath, running his hands through his hair. No. No. He can't let Xehanort see how much this has effected him. Cannot show any weakness. He was caught by surprise, but he won't let it show. Calm. In control.
He paces the room quickly before peeking out into the hallway, making sure he's alone in his room before he goes back. Zexion takes a deep breath, calms down, and schools his face into a careful look of blankness. He picks up the communicator again and goes back to sit on his bed, back in the corner so he has a view of the door. He clicks it on even as his illusionary words quickly form.]
Hello, Xehanort.
[Why are all the people he wants to see least of all coming to this school?]

Hello, Ienzo. And please, do call me Ansem. A nod to your father, someone I look up to quite a bit.
[Only a half-truth. The man is wise, and seeks to learn all he can. He simply will not take the measures. So there is at least some respect there.]

I am afraid I shall have to decline. It would be far too much of a bother on my end, you understand. Xehanort, Xemnas, Ansem - you are too fickle when it comes to names.

...Come on Aqua, you can do this! It's probably him and he's playing a joke or something.]
Terra?

I am... Afraid much has happened. My memory has become spotty as of late. You are...?

....Time to try and find him.]
It's Aqua, your friend? Do you know where you are? I can try and find you.

[She's fallen for it. And it seems that she knows Terra as a friend. Much had happened, indeed, in his brother's past. He'll have to learn much from this Aqua.]

Granted, it's entirely possible that that's due to the fact that he isn't facing the comm when the video comes in.
Either way, for a second, the air compresses around him as he flinches. The gravity magic fused to his heart draws everything inwards as his mind reels, struggling to sort out information his brain apparently can't access.
It's only when a paintbrush clatters on to the floor of the empty Art Building room and starts rolling towards him that things become clear again. His body moves without any distinct purpose - he reaches out for the communicator and presses a button, accepting the feed but switching his end to audio.]
Huh.
So.
What should we be calling you?
Xemnas?

I go by Ansem now, Braig. Nothing more. A... A nod to our former teacher. What of you? Do you still answer to Xigbar?
Reply
Xigbar. Only Xigbar. Braig is dead.

[It's his priority, of course, to find his family.]

If you do not mind me asking, are you a teacher or a student?
Oh, and I do not believe I got your name.
