ffffff. Still on hiatus but Jade cannot resist helping damsel in need~tch_duhDecember 18 2010, 07:07:14 UTC
[Well well, Jade happens to be in the library study hall (since she's being forced to finish a school project) AND she knows Chinese. What a coincidence~]
Qīn'ài-de, but if you want to write it in actually Chinese characters... [Grabs his pen and scribbles on the table: 親愛的]
[You know what's boring? Homework. You know what's even more boring? Having to do homework. Fuck this, Jack decides, and glances over with interest when somebody breaks the silence.]
You don't. You spell it in English and hope somebody else'll speak it for you. Why?
[Kuzco is in that lazy-sarcasm mode. You know, the kind that involves no words just noises and looks?]
I'm pretty sure the Emperor of the Land of Dragons - god that is such a long title - wouldn't take a letter of 'please don't marry my girlfriend off' seriously if it was in English.
[oh. Tiana knows what's going on. She's heard about it on the winds of the academy rumor mill... But she doesn't want to spook Kuzco or over load him with the advice he may already be receiving from all sides. So she had been watching him quietly like batman. Wondering what she should do before he spoke.]
[She sits in a chair next to Kuzco's spot at his desk and places a reassuring hand on his back. Something she wouldn't normally do considering... THIS IS KUZCO. But it felt like he needed a bit more support then normal.... And that's sayin' somethin']
[Belle knows what has happened. She already spoke to Mulan and, well, she's here to comfort Kuzco. So she creeps up from behind him approaches him and says hello very quietly.]

No problem, dude. Why are you writing a letter in Chinese anyway?
...Is it for Mulan?

Kind of...
It's for her Emperor.
You wouldn't know how to write that in Chinese either by chance would you?

Could always tell him in person. That's probably better then a letter in English or Chinese. Why's he marryin' your dame off?

[Pondering face is a-go.]
And I have no idea. Maybe it'll look good for the press? Maybe he's bored.

Y'need some help, sugar?

I need a freaking miracle.
[With that he flings his head onto the desk in a decidedly dramatic fashion.
It's only after he does that does he mumble into the woodwork:]

Didn't you hear the narr - nevermind.
Mulan's emperor got her engaged to the Frowning Wonder.
And...I don't like that. So I'm trying to write a letter to tell him to call it off. Or at least ask.
So yeah, that's the summary of my issues. How bout you?
