*She arrives soon enough, coming from around the side of the building to get to the front. Her hair's loose and the smile on her face goes from ear to ear; she installed a hook over her dorm window and she's quite pleased with her handiwork. She pauses when she sees the figure standing in front of the building, blinking slowly before approaching, the smile on her face waning a bit in her uncertainty*

[Quasi sees that uncertain look, and his smile wavers a bit, too, before he catches it. He waves at her, doing his best to look as friendly and approachable as possible.]

Hello, Rapunzel!

*She immediately brightens now that she's sure that's him, and she comes running over, tossing some hair back over her shoulder and bouncing on the balls of her feet*

Hi~! I didn't make you wait out here for too long, did I?

[Quasi's a little distracted by her hair for a moment - there is quite a lot of it, even more than was apparent in the video feed. But his attention snaps back to her face when she speaks.]

Oh no, not very long at all!

[There's a split second of awkward silence, as Quasi struggles to think of something, anything to say. His shyness around new people doesn't help matters. Still, he's keeping his smile on.]

...Sh-shall we be off?

[Quasi! Balto hasn't seen him since he left the Academy! He runs up to him, tail wagging happily.

[Last he saw Quasi, the guy was being told not to make friends at the Academy...and Balto had vowed to show him that the people there were good, another promise he'd fallen through on...but now, he could make up for it, at least a little bit.

[Though, he hopes that Quasi has already learned that lesson.]

Quasi! How have you been?!

[The sight of the dog surprises Quasi; he'd thought Balto was long gone.]

Balto! I-I've been well, and yourself?

Well, it was good to be home for a while, but I'm really glad to be back.

[Came an excited squeal before he was tackled from behind by a very light-weight and perky Princess. She wrapped her arms around him, squeezing with her cheek pressed against his hump before she let him go, giggling with her arms behind her back and a excited sparkle in her blue eyes.]

[Quasi pitched forward a bit when Arista tackled him, more out of surprise than due to any actual weight on her part. Despite the unorthodox greeting, he's delighted to see her, as evidenced by the big grin on his face.]

N-not today, I don't think. I've got plans.

[It felt very weird for him to say that - Plans? Since when did hunchbacked outcasts have plans? And with other people, no less? - but also good. Having plans was something normal people did, so if he had plans, he was one step closer to normal.]

Yup! I'm going to make a huge snow Palace! [she held out her arms to symbolize how large it was going to be, her cheeks puffed out dramatically. Then she giggled as she flopped them back down to her sides.]

Oh? Plans? Do you have a girlfriend already?

Really? That sounds fantastic!

[Quasi's kind of regretting having other plans; the opportunity to sculpt with Arista sounds like good times. Then her question sinks in.]

A what? No! No, she's just a friend. Who happens to be a girl. Like you. She's new here, her name's Rapunzel... have you met her?
