[She had heard him and wasn't sure how to respond, for now she'll just turn on her side hoping that if he comes her way he won't see her cry like he did the day Triton had destroyed her grotto.]

[Like he couldn't tell, Hasn't he noticed her strange behavior? She's still a little mad at him from before to be honest and now that he's here she's sure that he's going to tell Triton about her relationship with Eric.]

[And here's Belle with an umbrella. She sighs when she sees Ariel and leans down next to her, covering them both with the umbrella.]

[Ariel looks up seeing her friend standing above her with an umbrella, she sniffles and tears up throwing her arms around Belle's legs and pulls her down hugging very very tightly.]

[The umbrella falls to the floor as Belle wraps her arms around Ariel.]

[She clings a little more, almost choking on her tears, the flem in the back of her throat is making it a little difficult to breathe properly.]

[The sound of crying has attracted the attention of the night guard. It's hard to hear over the sound of the rain, but that's all the more reason for Goliath to investigate.

When he spots the red-headed human girl crying in the bushes, he considers how best to approach her without scaring her. He thinks he's seen her over the communicators, but knows that he is more intimidating in person than on a screen. He settles for walking over and extending one of his wings to shield her from the rain. If he surprises her, then he surprises her, but she might as well be dry(er) for it.]

[It's okay Goliath, Ariel's not afraid of you. Infact you remind her a little of some other the other creatures back from Atlantica, infact a less scary version of someone who threatened to destroy her home at one point but never managed to because the power of friendship run through that day thanks to Ariel and Flounder's quick thinking and reminding all her friends that differences are to be celebrated.

She's noticed how dry it's suddenly become and looks up noticing his wing and dries her face with the back of one of her hands.]
