[Long after the surprise drill in the rain had ended, Cogsworth was still outside.
After having a small run-in with a certain depressing clown, Cogsworth realized that he hadn't seen Dolly in quite a long time. At first he simply assumed that she was busy, but seeing Chuckles panic for her safety caused him to do the same. He's been running (or ( Read more... )

[Quasi relished any moment outdoors, even if the weather was lousy. He was wandering the quad a hundred yards or so from Cogsworth's when the little clock-man tripped and fell, so he quickly hobbles over to help.]

A-are you all right, Mr. Cogsworth?

[Cogsworth jumped a bit, startled at the fact that anyone else was outside.. and witnessed his little outburst. Oh dear.]

O-oh!! Yes, I'm alright..

[Quasi glances around at all the gears and springs in the mud, and wonders briefly why everyone's first instinct is to lie when he asks them how they're doing. He bends over, picking up the gears closest to him and rubbing the mud off on his cloak before handing them back to Cogsworth.]

H-here.

[Cogsworth smiles gratefully as he takes the cleaned gears back, placing them in his hollow chest again.]

Thank you, Quasimodo.. I-it's all right, I can get the rest of them. You should go back inside, it's dreadfully cold out here.

[Startled by the sudden crash, Ariel turns to notice that Cogsworth's cogs and gears had scattered all over the floor, Oh no. She immediatley kneels down and tries and to pick up as many as the cogs as she can find on the floor, the last thing she wants for poor Cogswaorth is to be falling apart.]

Are you hurt? Here let me help you.

[He carefully stands up, trying not to lose anything else.]

Why aren't you inside?

[Hey, look, it's your favorite Master! He was questioning Cogsworth as if being outside in the rain was the dumbest thing possible.

Beast had seen the little clock out of a window. Seeing his servant fall, and essentially, break, was cause for worry. Though, of course, his true concerns were hidden by anger. Anger at the stupidity coming from the one person Beast regarded as the most logical being ever.

So there was Beast, looming over the poor little fellow, not very happy about being in the rain. But lucky for our clock-faced friend, Beast actually had a... pleasant... run-in with Belle earlier. So he was in a better mood than he had been in month. Huffing a bit, he began to pick up the gears and springs using his claws.]

[Cogsworth sits up in surprise, especially at the Beast's little act of kindness. But he doesn't sound happy, so Cogsworth is going to be a bit cautious..]

M-master!! I-.. I was trying to find a friend of mine.
I'm sorry, you don't have to trouble yourself with my mess...

Too late. Already troubled.

[Beast finishes picking up the pieces, turning to his servant and swooping him up, carrying him like a football, before quickly running inside. Dripping water, he sets Cogsworth down on a wood table, along with the pieces.]

[The sudden, swift movement left Cogsworth disoriented for a moment, swaying lightly on the table. He shakes off the rest of the water and smiles faintly to Beast.]
Thank you.

[He starts picking up the pieces off of the table and placing them back in his chest.]

Still out in the quad as well sits that certain depressing clown, still trembling in fright over his run in with Lotso, despite it having happened hours ago. He hadn’t been able to bring himself to go back inside after the drill either. He was too shaken to even move. He was a pitiful sight, more so than usual, drenched in rain and mud, and having bits of bush leaves tangled in his blue hair. A shaky hand was pressed to his side. His old wound thankfully hadn’t been re-opened, but the clown still held his hand against it tightly, in fear that it would somehow open on its own and send his stuffing scattering everywhere.

His thoughts too were racing, worrying over Dolly and whether Lotso truly was responsible for her disappearance or not. And even if she did turn up again safely, her life could still be in danger, all because of his inability to keep his dang mouth shut.

Stupid, stupid, stupid. What had he done? What had he done? He would never, never forgive himself if he were responsible for Lotso hurting one of his friends. Never ( ... )

[Chuckles' screaming only succeeds in making Cogsowrth FLIP OUT IN FEAR and stumble backwards before really registering what was said. He looks over at the messy clown in surprised worry.]

Ch-chuckles??
I-it's fine, it wasn't Lotso.. I tripped. ..Good heavens, you're a mess! What happened?

I... I-I'm alright...

I'm in better shape than you, that's fer sure... [If possible, the clown would be turning even more pale than he already is. To a toy, having your insides outside of you is quite a gory sight, and Chuckles tries his hardest not to faint on the spot.]

Oh, yes...

[He frowns a bit at the gears, sighing.]
I drop these accursed things more often than I like..

[Poor Cogsworth. Belle just happens to be walking by when he trips over and spills his gears everywhere.]

Bonjour Cogsworth -- oh, my. Let me help you with those.

[She bends down and begins to pick them up.]

[She hands them to Cogsworth, still on her hands and knees. She was getting soaked, but she didn't seem to notice.]

Here you go. [A pause.] Cogsworth, have you spoken to him yet?

[Does she really have to tell Cogsworth who 'him' is?]

[He almost drops the gears a second time, but haphazardly shoves them into his chest to refrain from doing so.]

Y-yes, I did.. Have you?
