Sulley gets a girlfriend while in university. Why aren't they together in Inc?

Am I missing somewhere that it's canonical that Sulley gets a girlfriend, or is this the prompt set up? (I know I'm probably being a dumbass, but there you go...)

This is the prompt set up. I haven't a clue if it's official that he has a girlfriend... I just want to see him with a girl. All romance-y and cuddles and fluff and... well, smut is awesome too. :D I'm also curious why she'd go poof! between U and I.

Ahhh, that makes sense. XD You certainly see him chatting up a few girls during MU. If I tried, there might be angst at the end of the fluff.
