The best revenge Hook could ever hope to take would be to ensure that Peter grew up, and grew up to be like Hook himself. So he traps Peter, knocks him out, leaves Neverland, and sets about grooming Peter into the next Captain Hook. Peter resists for a while, but after a while he starts giving in and accepting his new reality. When Hook is satisfied with his work, he takes the ship back to Neverland to rub how much he's changed in Peter's face. Bonus points for - Hook and Peter developing a weird, twisted father-son relationship - The Lost Boys don't recognise the returned Peter at first, and find out in climactic fashion - Peter has a BSOD when he first realises that he's growing up
