Aladdin, loads of AU

So let's say the guards never found Aladdin and Jasmine. What would have happened if they'd finished that kiss? Would Jasmine have stayed? What about Jafar? Would there have been awesome cuddles and love in Aladdin's loft? I don't know, extrapolate for me, anon!

Her name is Jasmine, she says, and when he asks in wonder, "Like the Princess?" she laughs and blushes but doesn't actually answer

They explore each other that night, uncertain and gentle and giggling at times because that touch tickles or they don't quite know how to lie in order to not get in each others' way. And it's a bit sticky and messy, and a little bit uncomfortable at times, and sometimes they seem to have too many elbows, but it's warm and loving and afterwards they fall asleep curled up in each others' arms, and Jasmine doesn't complain too much in the morning about the mess that they've made on the sheets

The next morning they pack up what few things they have in the house, and tell Najmah that they are going somewhere special. At first Aladdin thinks that they are going to sneak into the Palace, but to his shock she marches up to the front gates and removes the scarf from her face right before the guards

She shakes her head. "No, father. Rest now, and we will talk when I am well again." Again, the wisdom appears in her eyes, what she has gained from her years of raw life in the real world and the streets, and she bends to kiss him on the forehead. "Things will be different now that I am back."

Finally she reaches out, and Aladdin takes her hand across the distance. Namjah jumps down out of his arms, and runs to Jasmine instead, resting her head in her adoptive mother's lap. With a smile, Jasmine simply strokes her hair, and this time she catches Aladdin's eye as she says, "Things will be different now."

This made me "aww" aloud. This was lovely and wonderful and made me smile. One of my favourite moments was when Jasmine was reunited with Rajah because she was so right! He did know! And I just love that they adopted a child, something about this couple makes it fit so well with them. :)

Plus the way he greets her and clearly is so happy to see her again. And this: bounding ahead and then turning back to nudge at her thighs with something that Aladdin imagines must be the equivalent of a smile. just makes me happy.

Thank you! I must admit, I think I saw the idea of adopting a child in another fic with them, but it just fitted so well that I think it's part of my headcanon for them now. I'm glad that you enjoyed it, though... and that Rajah was a hit. ♥

Eee! I can't remember whether I commented or not, but it's totally part of my headcanon now.

Btw, and I know this is a long shot, but are you the anon that asked for Cinderella/Prince pregnancy smut? The link's borked and I can't find it. :(

(You didn't.) Ah headcanon. :) This place definitely fostered a few headcanons for me. And good to know I'm creating headcanons for others!

I am loving all the fills that I am finding of yours!!! Such a cute story!! I love that they adopted a child!! It seems so logical with Aladdin's past. I also enjoy that Jasmine was able to mature and experience what it was like to not grow up a Princess.

Thank you! As in the thread above, the adoption thing is totally a headcanon for me now, because it does work so well. And yes, mature!Jasmine is growing on me as well. <3 I'm glad that you enjoyed!
