Okay, after trying to set up a game I got inspired ... Disney characters play Dungeons and Dragons. And they SUCK. Hour-long arguments and total-party-kills abound. References to The Binder of Shame or The Canonical List of Famous Last Words would rock.
My personal favourite is probably the one in the Binder of Shame where the guys try to run a homebrew system which requires dice-rolling for everything, to the point that every round of combat takes two hours and a guy fails to hit because of "the inverse drag coefficient of the blood coating the blade".
I must admit, I have my own list of Things I Should Not Do In A Roleplay. I think my personal worst was "Seeing a fanfic like that is not an excuse" which given what I write here... yeah...
Familiar with the infamous AD&D Book of Sex? Most of the content's either useless in 99% of games or outright offensive, but bits of it look like they have humour potential, particularly in this context.
I have come across it. XD I've also heard of serious abuse of the 'disrobe' spell, which is an interesting case of something supposedly dirty that gets used innocently. Making your opponent's armour fly in all directions during combat is a real help...
If I ever do get a game going, I am so introducing that spell.
Any ideas which Disney characters would be best - or worst - for a D&D campaign? Playing characters either very similar or totally opposite to themselves?
This prompt is fabulous. If I knew how to play D&D I would SO do this. That aside, I keep imagining Gaston and Kuzco as some of the players and Yzma as the poor DM.
I'm also into this prompt, but don't really have the constitution to deal with a long game. Also, I think the fill needs to have a character go into a nerd rage or something (like Buzz, because yeah).
If they want to continue discussing D&D itself and funny roleplaying stuff then it should be moved to the OT post.
They can, however, continue the conversation about what Disney characters they would like to see in the game or what could happen in the game, since it adds to the prompt and that is allowed here.

A/N: I couldn't not write this, especially after the chaos above. Inspired by absolutely everything linked to above, and my own experiences as a difficult roleplayer. This could go on for a while.
Okay, so maybe it wasn't the best way to get everyone in the flat to meet each other. But it was their first week, and some of them weren't the sort to want to go out clubbing, and besides Milo was sure that he'd made the rules simple enough for everyone to understand
