Er, I hope this is what you were looking for, anon.
----
It was days like these Kocoum knew better than to leave Thomas alone for an extended period of time. They were just like the berries we had at home, Thomas insisted, showing the fruit to him, and Kocoum knew better to stop him right there, but he also knew that the more he disagreed with the redhead, the more persistent he grew to prove him wrong. And usually, Thomas’ persistence resulted in curious situations that would cause talk both in the village and the fort ( ... )

Thomas struggled a bit more before relenting, shooting the warrior a coy look and Kocoum knew better than to trust him. But, as Thomas would probably recover faster if they had the village healer look at him, Kocoum scooped Thomas into his arms and prayed to every spirit that the redhead would behave himself. Shuddering at the sudden contact, Thomas shifted-no, writhed-in Kocoum’s hold as he buried a hot face into his neck, whimpering and pressing soft lips that burned against his skin. Nakoma was at his side, holding a small basin of herb-scented water ( ... )

I should probably feel bad for liking to put Kocoum in embarrassing situations, buuuut I really don't. >:)

I just hope Thomas will be coherent enough to explain himself when that time comes. Or he could just like, throw Kocoum a bone.
