prob npc even though i'm chinese and should know better, but oh wellmeggannnApril 14 2010, 20:17:13 UTC
Shang ripped the parchment and crumpled it up, throwing it with the others over his shoulder as he tossed his brush down. His head came to rest heavily in his hands. He ignored how it was nearing midnight, how he would have to awaken in five hours for the morning drills, how he would now have to redo these navigational routes again, and tried hard to ignore how his mind was still inappropriately focused on one of his best soldiers. He was having a significantly tough job accomplishing the latter.
Ping was a man. A small, feminine one with a rather high voice, but a man nonetheless. Shang was the general's first and only son, and as such, he had suitors - though admittedly ones that he had never cared for - back home that would be at his beck and call once this damanble war was done with; why couldn't he be satisfied with one of them? Someone that would pour tea and be seen and not heard and look nice for politeness's sake. Someone boring and doll-like and... female

UNF!! That was great! Didn't seem npc to me, either, more like accurate for the time. Funny how he is angsting about not wanting to be gay, but when he thinks about the women he could have, it's not in a positive light.
