Hello, all seeing as several people are suggesting Femslash February, I'd like to request a pairing please. I would like an AU in which Maurice (Belle's Father) actually took the much nicer looking path at the start of the film and made it to the convention. There, his invention wins and becomes a huge success. He makes a lot of money and gives Belle the chance to visit all the beautiful places that she reads about in her books. Belle takes him up on the offer and travels the globe, eventually going to Agrabah. There, she sees the princess greeting the people as she conducts a royal tour of the city. They meet and bond over their love of freedom and fantasy. Jasmine takes Belle into the palace and shows her the exotic and erotic books of the Middle East. Cue sexy time in Jasmine's bedroom with use of beautiful silks, cushions and drapes that are a speciality of the country. Can be sweet or hot, up the the filler.

Hello, anon! I'm sorry that it took so long, but I did see this prompt and I was determined to get to it! I've moved it in time somewhat (though it's still historical) and it's very heavy on the smut, but hopefully it might be something like what you're after!
