She feels horribly guilty sneaking around, and knows full well that she'll probably foolishly get herself into trouble for coming, but...
But she so badly wanted to attend her first prom.
To go to a grown up party, and to see how sophisticated, mature adults acted.
Plus Mrs. Philip was kind enough to make her such a pretty dress and headband. It would be a terrible shame to let them go to waste.

Cautiously, she steps out from behind the shrubs and nervously gazes over at the older kids.
They all look so glamorous and mature... she can't help but feel intimidated. She gives a shaky gulp, looking back down at the bear for comfort before making her way over.
She tries to stand tall and look as mature as she possibly can.]
Grown up, Jane... you must be grown up...
[She gives one last glance back at Lotso, giving him a grateful little wave, before finally reaching the crowd and vanishing among them.]
