He rolls his eyes, placing a pen down on the surface next to the device before staring at it out of the corner of his eye. This is... the second time he's seen that face other than in a mirror and he's beginning to question to himself about why he was given this appearance.]

At least some get it better than others. [His voice is somewhat bitter, recalling the fights that began in reaction to his arrival into the world in general, yet somewhat passive. He's more annoyed by the memory, to be honest.

Mera looks over to the comm, showing his face. Yes, he saw the other messages due to them not being private.] ...And darn, Ven ruined the surprise.
