it feels so good to be home right now. i'm actually in air conditioning, and tonight i will be sleeping in a real bed (my own, in fact) instead of a cot, i won't be woken up in the middle of the night by coyotes, and no daddy longlegs are going to crawl on me while i sleep. oh joy ( Read more... )

my break from work has almost arrived! i get to go home tomorrow for 5 days. well kinda. we have to be back at camp on tuesday at 1pm. so i guess i get 4 and a half days off. but thats ok with me, cuz 4 days is better than none ( Read more... )

i only got 4 hours of sleep last night. which normally wouldn't be so bad, if i didn't have to get up and drive 2 & 1/2 hours just to have an eye appointment. yes that's right. i drove from fort dodge to sioux city for 15 minutes of one-on-one time with my eye doctor. and now i have to drive back, because tomorrow i have to get back to work.
