As much as I want to get behind the struggles of the protagonist in main Pokémon games, I always have trouble.

You ever wonder how come the Foot can get taken down so easily by street-punk vigilante Casey Jones? Granted, Casey kicks all sorts of ass...but still. XD

Yeah, I feel the same way about the Pokemon games. If I'm going to be continuously playing as a character, I'd kind of like to have them to have some sort of personality. Battling the Elite Four pretty much has the same feeling as battling a random trainer anywhere else in the game.

The only difference between the E4 and any other trainer battle is that you're forced to run the gauntlet. It's really wicked annoying to lose all that progress, not to mention expensive (frigging costs a fortune to stock up on Revives and Full Restores...)
