Finally, u r back writing OST reviews again. I think Michael Giacchino blended in the old theme quite well. But still think Jerry Goldsmith's theme is still better. Anyway, if u know any orchestra music composition software that can write scores and play the sound of particular instruments, u can let me know. Thanks.

yah I know...

haven't had the 'mood' to write - further more, not that many scores really attracted my attention. And when they did, I was too busy!

You can try Finale or Sibelius - those are the 'standards'.

www.finalemusic.com - finale has a free version, finale notepad I think..but severely limited.

www.sibelius.com/ should be version 5.0 already.

If you want free, you can also try lilypond, it's an open source software.
