Maladicta had showered after patrol and a round or two of boxing, gone to the basement clad in a towel, and fished a robe out of the box so she could put her clothes of the day into the wash. Heading upstairs wasn't necessary to receiving a reaction, as it happened. Having been warned repeatedly by William that she was in danger of being dragged on vacation just as soon as this issue was done and needing to get some fresh - comparatively speaking - air, Sacharissa had headed downstairs.

"Hello," she said, lingering in the doorway and smiling.

Maladicta brightened immediately, dropping the towel to one side, and took a moment to look the other woman over before offering a smile.

"Hello."

As if Maladicta had given her some unspoken cue, Sacharissa moved closer, leaning just slightly against the machine. "It's a madhouse upstairs," she said cheerfully. "We're nearly there."

Maladicta grinned at that.

"As things should be. Hopefully nothing news worthy occurs in the next day, I don't want him to have a stroke, if mostly because it would mean you'd be doubly as scarce."
