Most people are cowards. And this coming from me, who`s very well aware that I`m definitely anything but brave. But in comparison to people I`ve seen, I must be a demi-god or something. All barely-100lbs scared-shitless me, yep, can put the fear of god into guys twice my size, just with glares. Pathetic. The world must be going to hell, that`s all I figure. Either that or people are so damned sheltered (!!!) that the slightest hint of injury freaks them beyond belief. Maybe we should start fighting classes in middle school and high school, get kids bloody so that they`ll know that it won`t kill them.
Ohyea, and you should come visit! I know, I know, not possible anytime soon... But it would be fun. Especially once we get his bike running, we could go riding. We`ve got spare gear, and there`s some truly gorgeous roads out here.
I could definitely see that happening. Self-preservation always wins out over logic. The "oh shit, gonna die" vs the "wait, that is a rusty butter knife" thing. We've all been victims of that.
