So here's a Q. What happens to gauged ears when you take out the jewelry?

Well his ears because he did them way too fast and not right (there was a lengthy lecture about that) he had an outpatient reconstruction before he went to bootcamp. Had he done them properly they probably would have closed enough to satisfy the military.

I thought gauged ears don't actually close, even if you do them right. What size was he at?

Originally they were 00 but they went to I think a 2-3 on their own for school because his high school decided no stretched piercings. I think when he went and had them fixed he was back at 0. He cut to that though I thought that's why they didn't start closing up. I wonder if our family just has weird skin or something? Mine went from about an 8 back to a 12 in just a few months after I lost my talons is that not normal?
