1. teaching is awesome. if anything, it's more in demand than nursing. 2. though highly in demand, i've talked with recent nurse-school graduates (the local community college from my hometown has an amazing associates' nursing program, so i know plenty) and (at least in reference to local, northern-IL hospitals...) hospitals are only hiring ooooh three graduates. like...it's in demand, yeah, but hospitals aren't hiring that many. ??? that's all i know about it. 3. i wanted journalism until i began to understand the attitude behind it. if you go into it...try to find a school that cares more about the informing-the-populace idea instead of trying-to-entertain-and-get-the-best-story idea. well, unless you care about media entertainment.
haha thnaks, i didnt know that about nursing, ugh. and yeah journalism is a bit iffy, cause im really turned off by the "entertainment is the only thng that matters" attitude. but i wanted to do the investigative part... so far teaching seems best hah :]
