Having the most wonderful time in Santa Monica! We arrived on Saturday, the flight was pretty insane - I watched 3 movies - Inkheart, The Reader, and Wall-E - and two flight of the concords episodes :D Looked at the moon out the window a bit too - amazing being that much closer to it :p Only slept for about 3 hours, and kept waking up cos various ( Read more... )

So glad you're safe and having fun! And so glad you found a nice part of LA.

I'll have to overcome my dislike of the place and actually step outside the airport next time!

seriously, Santa Monica is BEAUTIFUL! Went to Hollywood today and didn't like it - felt really uneasy the whole time we were there and was so glad I had a lock on my bag. But I've felt fine the rest of the time! Helps being with someone though :-) Met some such nice people too :D:D:D:D

Having an awesome time - I miss you though! If gmail chat worked on this danged computer I could've chatted to you for a bit, but alas, the enter button just starts a new paragraph instead :(

It really sounds like you're having a good time! California pizza - yes huge, and also the best, especially if you go into a restaurant called The California Pizza Company.

Having an amazing time! Pizza was good - not as good as the ones made in my kitchen about a month or so ago, but still good, and pretty good company!
