I didn't half leave this one till the last minute. But here's my stab at a Bonfire Night, fireworks inspired drabble.

Yeah, very nice! I like how it captures Doyle--love the contrast and that the sound and fury are necessary for the stillness to have effect--but also how it captures Bodie. Well, I'm assuming it's Bodie, come to think of it... *g* Yeah, Bodie. Thanks!

The contrasts and ambiguities Doyle possesses are one of the many things I find intriguing about him. And yeah, of course it's Bodie. *g*

Of course not. Just saying that, for this topic, Bodie's POV is perfect. For a "keep cool" topic, it'd be the other way round. *smooths ruffled feathers*

It was an inspiring prompt, so very Doyle.

Oh, I liked that! Both the contrast of Doyle in motion (the sturm and drang of him) and at rest. I also like how the image of him as a still point calls to mind (for me, at least), him being the one thing Bodie's universe revolves around. Very nice.

It's Doyle's contrasts that make him so darn interesting. And I like the thought of that, Bodie's universe revolving around Doyle.
