Oooo, creepy. Loved the video too. Multimedia fic. :D Wonderful.

Thank you. I've seen various multimedia fic approaches, but wanted to try something different. The fun part was that I did the story and the vid literally at the same time, and the story influenced the making of the vid and vica versa!

I was going to say, it's multimedia! But empty mirrors beat me to it. ;-)

Very atmospheric, and the vid really does add a lot to the story - and vice versa. Fun!

Wow - thanks. I really wanted to be different, and it took me up until the deadline, but I finally got it! I'm really glad it worked for you.

Cool use of the video! Thank you for this. I liked the atmosphere, and I liked this bit especially: Glancing over at his partner, Doyle took in the pout, rolled his eyes, then pushed against the other man's shoulder. Naturally, Bodie pushed back and a bit of a scuffle took place, ending up with Doyle pinning Bodie to one rugged wall. The two looked at each other in the gloom, all merriment gone in an instant. A moment, then two, riding the edge of the tension between them.

I can see that happening very easily. *g*

Thanks very much! I love how Doyle & Bodie can be going along, and all of a sudden they are on a totally different wave length - but always together.

Thank you very much! As I've said above, the story and the vid were created together and each fed the process for each other. It was a great experiment. I always thought it was a one-off, but I suppose I could make a related sequence, starting with Bonfire night....hmmmm....

Ooh yes, there could be a whole series of 'em... *g*

I was actually talking with someone not long ago about the relationship between fics and vids, and how vids certainly (for me, anyway) inspire various thoughts and feelings and so forth that could easily translate into fics - and that it might perhaps work the other way as well, a fic inspiring a vid. So I'm totally chuffed that you've done just that! And very interested to hear that you worked on both at the same time...

Loved the way the vid & the story complement each other - had to wait until now before I could download the vid, although I read the story yesterday, & it definitely is good to see both! Nice spooky atmosphere, especially in the vid when you switch to the grainy, shaky black & white images.

Thank you! The vid was a bit of a challenge, since I wanted to use actual footage of Castle Threave. So, I cheated a bit, and used some stills from the official website, did a little photo manip, added on the grainy old film effect & a few other things, and voila - almost video LOL! I can say that it's my most challenging vid to date and I loved making it. I'm very gratified that I achieved the effect I was trying for.
