Totally made my day! - a lovely long fic with so much going on, full of mistakes and crossed wires and missed chances to understand ... and realisations. And with finally a sliver of a chance to snatch in the midst of peril, a chance to admit everything and for it to come right in the end in spite of all those mistakes! Absolutely loved it. Everyone was really in character - I especially liked Cowley's solution to letting them know that he knows, without remotely admitting to anything whatsoever (and of course there's nothing like having a writer who knows what they're talking about when it comes to mending damaged agents ;-) ) One feels a great deal of sympathy for Ali, realising from Doyle's absence that his feelings must be engaged in the relationship too even though neither of them necessarily knows it - and that this would ultimately make the marriage untenable. Insightful and rightly proud - she deserves that department headship and more! *g* Thank you so much for the treat!
Oh, thank you for your encouraging words. I was quite anxious about posting this, my first long fic, so it's a great relief that you 'got it'.
I couldn't have Bodie falling in love with any old bimbo - she'd have to be something special for him to commit to her and I'm glad that came across. :D
Thank you! I'm so glad Ali has a real character and that Bodie's emotion for her was real even though he loves Doyle more. I laughed at the dialog and loved the ending. Great gift for Epiphany, too!

I liked Ali and wanted her to be a suitable pairing for our Bodie so I'm pleased she seemed real to you.
Thanks for your comment.
