Pros in multimedia zines: Liaisons 2

Dec 31, 2013 19:37

Liaisons II is a multi-media slash zine published by Up The Rebels Press in 1993. I presume it is out of print. It has 210 pages. There are four Pros stories, totalling 32 of those pages. Three of them are online: the remaining one is only six pages.

Oh, and there is a very pretty cover... )

I have The Evergreen Affair by DVS, it was the first MFU zine I bought. Thanks for the zine review here, I did enjoy reading it.

You're very welcome! - and oh, how cool! I hope you enjoyed The Evergreen Affair - and Baker Man - as much as I did - but then, if you didn't, at least you have a yardstick to measure my comments against in future!

That was an excellent review. It was thorough in terms content and it acknowledged the context of personal expectations. You also considered what other readers might be looking for. That all gives a pretty rounded picture of the zine.

Heh! After seeing the first sentence about Night Of The Cat, I decided I couldn't go any further until I had read it. That was a premise and a half, especially since I wasn't sure if, by 'Bodie drops through', you meant 'Bodie fell through' (which intrigued me even more!) :D

Why, thank you! I enjoy doing these things, but I am often conscious that I can write a review longer than the story. (In fact, I did that once, over in CI5HQ - story was just under 1300 words, review was just over *headdesk* - but it was a very clever story, so...!)

Heh, I have a great deal of fun summarising stories so that they are brief but fair and leave enough unsaid not to ruin them, so I am glad that it sounded worth checking out. I think Bodie does fall through, doesn't he? Sort of. Not through the glass perhaps, but still. I'll have to go and read it again!
