Oh man. I had to read this three times. I thought it was Cowley caught with Doyle! *bg* I thought it was Cowley speaking to Bodie and when he said "or me" I had a momentary second there of disbelief.

That's well done. I can imagine Bodie's anger.

Oh yikes, I can promise you that Cowley and Doyle was not at all on my mind! I'll have to see if I can make that clearer. But I'm glad you thought it was worth re-reading to check!

Yes, I had in mind a Bodie both baffled and furious.

I love to write drabbles, but yours is exactly why I don't like to read them. *g* There's so much here and yet so much left open. I need to know the why, how, who, of this one. Please don't leave us hanging! :-)

Laugh. Your version of what is left hanging may be better than my version. But I shall see what I can do. Thanks for reading.

That's a gutsy little drabble. You've covered a lot... but left us hanging with so much unsaid. Phew!

I don't think they're always very good at saying things themselves, but I hope some of it doesn't need saying. Not to us, anyway...

Yowzer! Definitely a nicely angsty story that needs to be told further.

Delighted you think so. Most of my stuff turns out as fluff, but perhaps this one can grow!

(And, as I said in the first reply - sorry for the delay - my internet ran away, but I have stapled it down now.)
