Hi guys, and a merry Christmas and a happy New Year and a great Yule and whatever else you've been celebrating.

My prompt was 'Top Trumps'. Fortunately I have young sons and therefore wasn't completely flummoxed! Actually, it's been a lot of fun researching this, and I've stuck in a couple of links for anyone who might possibly be interested.

And I know the game from my childhood. Very boring... indeed just something for boys. :-)
So I love the way Bodie changes the rules of the game - starting to tell Doyle his own delicate and so Bodie-like experiences! And on top of it all he invents a CI5 agents set.

Well done! Dialogue fic is far frome easy to pull off but this was a treat. It bounced along nicely and I could always tell who was who - bravo! And I remember those cards! My brother and I would play Top Trumps on long car journeys when we were kids. I remember the tank one in particular.

Lol - I was reading way "worse" things when I was 13, "ratings" are weird! I like the idea of CI5 Top Trumps though - I reckon we need a set or two of those around! Cheers!
