One of the regulars came into the workout room tonight while I was plugging away on the elliptical machine and trying to get interested in watching Fairly Oddparents on the TV that's set too high on the wall for me to be able to change the channel. good luck!! i'm sure you'll do fabulously. just remember to bring lots of moisturizer cause your skin really dries out in these temperatures and you don't want your face to be flaking off during your interview. and i would recommend going downtown to spice, this cheap, futuristically decorated, absolutely delicious thai place (they have a couple locations). your mom will freak out! it'll be great!! :)

ooh. good advice. i didn't even think to mention bringing moisturizer...it's second nature to slather myself w/ it.

Reading about your workout-room fiascos makes me SO glad I have my own treadmill. If I can fit it in after I move, I am going to get an elliptical because working on the same machine is tedious after awhile. And go for the iPod shuffle if it means your sanity stays! ;-)

And I hear ya on the bipolar weather down there, I check the GA weather every day and it is always different, kind of like New England. Hopefully by the time we move down in a month, the southern weather will be lookin' more consistantly nicer.

Aah, the memories Tear in your Hand brings back to me.

Good luck in the interview Laurie, I know you'll do great! Have a safe and fun trip to NYC and stay warm!

"I feel like I've gotten off easy, which I've never let myself do."

That statement reminds me of why I ended up an English major as an undergrad; sociology was just too easy.

good luck!
