It amazes me that this girl is so intrigued by your vegetarianism. I can't even begin to comprehend it taking willpower to not eat meat!!

And she said, "Wow, you have such will power," as she bit into a long, stringy piece of pork from the bowl of mushy, ketchup-covered pasta she had made for dinner.

*grin* Now, now. If she's making the effort to be nice.... ;P

And it does sound like she might be.

Maybe it's a new year's resolution thing, in which case you know how long they last, so enjoy it while you can.

But honestly, who can be that fervently against something without having something of a (denial-requiring) interest in it themselves? Turn her! Send her home salad-loving!
