I'm a bit behind posting things here - but I've been busy, and hospitalized. So... for those that don't know, I have a new dog. Her name's Zoe. She appears to be a pitbull and about a year old.

Zoe like zoe, or Zoë like zoey? I enjoy the use of an umlaut.

No, not really. I watched part of one episode once, I guess.

Ah... well... you should. Damn good bit of work. Anyway. She's named after a character on that show. It's pronounced 'Zoey' like Joey or Chloe

Such a cute puppy! And great name, she better be a warrior woman if she's gonna rocky the Zoe name. And yes, Firefly is an awesome series... everyone should see it.

Also, Ouch for the hand, hope you get to feeling better soon.

I'm not sure I'd want the hand bite, but my cats ruined two beds by pissing on them when I got Thomas... so I kinda feel your pain. Just more in the pocketbook rather than my hand.

She hates men. I haven't tested to see how far she would take that, but when she sees a strange man she acts like she wants to kill. It's actually a bit of work to keep her down. I don't know what would happen if she got the chance to try. Women - she absolutely adores.

Well... overnight stay in the hospital, x-rays, three rounds of antibiotics, three prescriptions and at least 4 doctor visits before it's all over - my pocket-book is going to feel it too. I have pretty good insurance, but I'm still gonna notice it.

One of our previous cats ruined a loveseat by pissing on it when we rescued another cat. We've yet to replace the loveseat, but I'm glad she did that rather than bite one of us. I have a healthy desire to avoid medical care after this year.

Oh, I bet you do! From the sound of it you should be paying rent at the doctor's office and have insurance cover your mortgage.
