He didn’t say anything, just kept looking at her with that intense stare he sometimes got, the one that made her squirm. The door shut as the last students left. “Hayato?”
He pushed her against the counter, fingers still on her pulse, and kissed her, hard and fast. Her head spun when he pulled away.
“Go out with me,” he said, his forehead against hers. She nodded, and all she could taste was him.
