Track: 1. Dear Spirit, I'm in France
Notes: I don't even know. My apologies. (I need a WTF tag on these...)
Before the stars were destroyed, father would always take me flying across the universe. I especially loved the view of Earth from above. Paris, Tokyo, New York... the twinkling city lights were like snow globes filled with stars.
I asked father if the lights would flutter if we shook the earth. Father said, "No, Prince. Gravity has claimed these stars for himself." (Whoever this Gravity person is, he sure is greedy! The stars belong to everyone.)
Other days, under the light of the sun, I remember playing connect the dots with the red, orange, blue, and purple mushrooms as we soared over the bright green fields. The animals always welcomed us with open arms: the birds would glide beside us, the butterflies would dance around us, and the earthbound creatures would scamper below-all of them trying to catch our attention.
I don't exactly enjoy rolling katamari and collecting objects, but father promises that once the stars are restored and the universe returns to normal, our tours of the sky shall continue and I'll once again be able to see the city lights and connect as many mushrooms as my heart desires.
All fine and dandy, but why am I the only one creating new stars? Father was the one who accidentally destroyed the stars to begin with-and! why should all of my cousins get to laze about doing nothing?
Father says this is my training to become as great as him and his father before him. "You will be the next King of All Cosmos, and for that, you must be prepared!" Reasonable, but I think he's just trying to keep me busy so he can watch synchronized swimming and My Little Pony without my knowing-unfortunately, I've known about this particular past time for a while now.
