it was late at night...
the sky was lit
with a bright smile
that looked down on
the earth with love and care;
stars were twinkling like
freckles on the
face of a best friend
and sparkling like the
eyes of a puppy
as the clouds rose up to form
the cheeks of a laughing child.
true love...
you can see it in everything
when you finally find it.

to fall and rise
like the sun in the sky
or to fall and die
like a shooting star?
the future.
it is such a thing of the past...
