Lavos Plot; Phase Three Details
As promised, I am going to be doing big info dump posts for each phase of the upcoming event BEFORE I am unavailable for several days. We're going to start with Phase Two: Time's End.
Discedo, this part is probably going to be the weirdest. So bear with me.
When Lavos has finished with phases one and two, he'll start feeding on time itself. Skips forward, backward, and everywhere inbetween will be happening to either characters personal timelines or the timeline of any given region. This can mean several things. One of which is more open than the other.
For Characters: Characters may be suddenly younger, older, OR on an alternate timeline entirely. Ever wanted to explore what your character may have been like in the past? The future? Ever wanted to know what they would be like if one particular event in their past had happened differently? Now's your chance. You have complete free reign to interpret this how you wish. Get creative!
For Places/Objects: Now, for the sake of the game's metaplot, I want you to avoid seeing certain aspects of Discedo itself without express mod permission. What CAN happen, however, is for characters (one or more) to revisit important moments in the game's history. Yes, that means OLD EVENTS can happen AGAIN, or you can be thrown right smack dab into the middle of it. Want a horde of reavers? Smiling Men? EXPLOSIONS? ATROPOS? GUILT? MARSHAL CAKE? WALTER SULLIVAN? THE BLIZZARD? ZOMBIE RUSH? Anything you can imagine is free game. Obviously the event's end will make them all go away again, but please feel free to have fun with this.
That will last for about four or five days into Phase Three. Once that's done, we'll have normality forced as Lavos starts to begin the whole process over again. At this time, Lucca will start laying down the plan to send Lavos back to the Darkness Beyond Time. I will not spoil how this is going to work, as I want to keep you all guessing, but it will likely have to do with the Time Egg I mentioned in an earlier post. Either way, expect it to be epic.
