CHIP EVENT
OKAY SO. Remember that hiatus I was talking about? Yeah, I'm still on it, I just got done with a TON of stuff and I'm seriously needing sleep today. The good news is, it looks like I'll be back by Saturday night!
Now, what I'm here for is to inform you that Namine is getting her chip removed. So it's time for a chip removal event! 8D
Okay, so for those who don't know Kingdom Hearts canon, Namine's powers are over memory manipulation. Basically, she can control the memories of other people. In her canon, it's the people she's connected to; after she gains control of her powers, it will be the people in her heart. However, since she's losing control over it for the event, this can affect anyone who wishes to participate.
You have three options for your character to be affected:
One: Your character can lose a memory (or memories). It can simply be a blank spot in the middle of their memories that changes who they are or how they act, or it can be their most recent memories (or even their memories of Discedo!). For this option, however, you can either chose to make it blank in their minds (which will make the memories seem fuzzy, like they think they should be remembering something but they're not), OR they may have another memory of their choosing. For instance, if Character A had an important talk with Character B that made them take up a lifelong passion for writing, and Character A loses that memory, they can have a memory subbed that may have Character B telling them they should never be a writer. Obviously, the outcome of this character would now be EXTREMELY different with those subbed memories.
Two: Your character gains a memory (or memories). This is partially related to the losing of memories; but for the event, your character can gain memories that never really happened (obviously leading to some crazy shenanigans, since one character will remember something another doesn't, and end up confused).
Three: Your characters memories will be rewritten. This one takes a little explaining and works almost in conjunction with the other two, so bear with me here.
In Namine's canon, as she rewrites the memories of Sora, as she writes the new memories for him, she ends up writing herself into the memories to get him to develop feelings of friendship for her, despite them being entirely fake. For the people that know Namine/are close to her and chose to do this, basically you will have Namine written in to your memories as a canon character. Of course, by canon, this means that she'll be taking a different role; for instance, in APH, she could possibly be a country, ect. 8D
So yeahhhh there are your options. Namine will post when the event starts, when she's feeling sick after getting her chip removed. This will come Saturday night, May 8th; the event will run through Monday, May 10th, and will be closed by another post by Namine, apologizing for everything that's happened. When the event is over, all the characters that were affected will fall asleep for a short period of time, and when they awaken, they will not remember what has occured; it will be a blank space, such as happens during the 4th Wall events. Namine will remember, however; if you ask, maybe she'll tell you. |D
