There was a more sudden, rapid sound coming. Footsteps, kicking the water up on the ground, splashing it all back against a thick outer coating.
Another noise. The beast growling, coiling up, a roar-
BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM.
whump.
More footsteps in the rain.
Then a few solid THMPs, making sure the damn thing was dead.
One more noise. The door creaking open.
"Dr. Cuddy?" Said the woman wrapped in many layers. Had to prevent the burn, after all.

Was this their version of an angel? Because Cuddy was sure she had to be dead at this point. Blood painted the floor, and it just would not stop coming out, no matter what she did to try to stop it.
No, it was more an angel of mercy it seemed, as the woman said her name. Thank god, someone had come to save her after all.
"That's...m-me," she said softly, trying to catch a breath and failing miserably, as the pain just seemed to get worse the more she breathed. Her vision was starting to go dark again, and she could only see the woman partly.

Working hurriedly, Cybil rubbed the cuts down with the disinfectant, and pulled off a thick roll of the bandages, shifting and moving Cuddy's clothes when needed to tie it around. Once around wouldn't be enough - wrapped it around a second time...

She worked to keep her eyes open as she was shifted around, the white of the bandages becoming darkened with her blood quickly enough with a once around, and even with a twice around. A third time had spots of blood appear, but it was tight enough that it was starting to die down.
She was lucky that this woman had appeared. Moments later, and Cuddy would not have known what to do anymore to save herself. Still, she could barely move, could barely breathe, her breathing coming out ragged and harsh.
